Drawing from the well - 'Willie Keane: Music in Motion'
ITMA is delighted to present Drawing from the Well 2021 Episode 3, a video by dancer and concertina player Caitlín Nic Gabhann. At the age of seven Caitlín danced on stage at the Willie Clancy Summer School in Co. Clare with legendary solo and set dancer Willie Keane (1927–1998). This is Caitlín's journey to find out more about the dancer who 'was so in tune and so connected to the music' and continues to inspire her. Drawing from the Well is a monthly series connecting artists with archival material to inspire new art. It is supported by Bank Of Ireland Begin Together Arts Fund in partnership with Business to Arts.
